Despite the gritty stove beneath the pan of eggs, a sense of warmth emanates from the photo. The blurry ring of blue fire is cut off by the pan and creates a smiley face in combination with the two yolk eyes. The lighting hits the eggs in a way that they appear not runny, but warm and gooey just the way eggs should be. This picture is almost a vestige of a home-cooked meal. Taken on a film camera.
